kpopficwangst ended and now I can stop being lazy and log in and go comment on fics that I read at inorae while logged out.
Also, wtf kpfw is so enabling in wonderful and horrible ways. I haven't done any of those awesome welcomes because I don't even have an intro post (/lame), but some osm people who I've been connected to via that meme:
+ saengie After 2.5 fandoms and one anonmeme, we are now friends 8D (your fic archive's immensity still scares me. solesakuma can vouch for that. We've seriously discussed this during remix.)
+ mirai_nante works wonders for the ego because she is encouraging and awesome, which makes the encouragement like triple awesome. (In her defense, she did it for the lulz.) Because of her, I want to try to fly Virgin Atlantic!
+ essyllus' username is tricky and I think I have a 50% chance of typing it correctly on first try. But this is one of the horrible enablements because we will troll the internets with our Junsu bias!
+ primroseshows is like a freaking bounty hunter when it comes to her stalkersfangirls. I'm kind of embarrassed she found me, but she is also hilarious! And some kind of amazing prompt-fulfilling fairy, wtf.
and for the people who friended me after I crossed over, prior to kpfw:
+ crystallekil will be awesomesauce forever because you are an exchange mod's dream come true! Also, it's nice to see someone on my flist who is living the 9-5 life. Keep my flist fresh, girl! 8D
+ envoler has done some crazy amazing things, not limited to betaing for me (and not de-friending me afterwards), having some of the most hilarious and traumatizing tweets on the face of the internet, and keeping me updated on Beast's various body parts. I don't think I'll be able to recognize Seungho's face, but his lips and legs may be a different story.
and the JE girls who put up with my Kpop treachery:
+ solesakuma is the best partner in crime because she makes crazy awesome spreadsheets and will still beta me at obscure hours of the day, even though it's not remotely close to her fandoms. I've learned a crapton of stuff from her, ranging from meta fandom to the English language and beyond! I also learned to relax on the speech tags, haha.
+ i_am_zan probably needs some sleep, but I'll wait for your entries. ;_; She makes me look forward to growing up, ngl. ^^ And possibly the only reason I would tolerate Singaporean humidity.
+ indian_monsoon might be spazzing over finals right now, but hey! You have a future! And you're on the road to being, what - quadlingual? Shisus, ambitious much? I still remember our convos over the summer when I was abroad and that moment in April when I read your entry about afjdjf CARNIVAL!
+ littlealex is a crazy fast ninja and comments to JE Remix posts before I finish writing them! Another testament to her osm is that she hasn't stabbed me for saying dumb things about China. Hope Japan/ Arashi was good to you!
+ trivialaffair flails a lot! But is busy with rl/school, and had the unfortunate luck of being sick on her bday. I hope things are going well with her now, but last I checked she had a fix of Massu and other silly videos, which is usually a good sign.
+ g_esquared writes awesome Arashi fic, and I stalked her for a while for fics. She seems to reinforce my stereotype (started by the people I went to school with) that all Singaporeans can dismantle/put together an M16 in the dark in like, 10 seconds, but what do I know?
Work was not as win as yesterday, but more controlled than my previous fails. As in, previously my wins were out of sheer luck rather than me knowing what I was doing. This time, I approached things more rationally, failed on two parties (I am so sorry, party of 3 who had to wait an extra half hour or so because I'm a treetard D: You guys are champs ;_; ), but I can pinpoint what went wrong.
Work again tomorrow, and maybe shopping for card making materials. Anyone want one? I've never made cards for anyone before, so be prepared for some amazing examples of my degree. I guess you can comment and we can arrange for the exchange of personal deets?
