Destination Imagination
My team did well on their competition this weekend - came in first and felt the best they ever had after doing the Instant Challenge portion.
I was pleasantly surprised by the changes from Thursday's meeting to Saturday's final presentation - but then they always seem to do that. They will compete at the State tournament on April 14. They have big plans for the changes they want to make before then, so I guess it will be a busy couple weeks for me.
In other news, I'm prepping for my Japanese midterm, which is Wednesday. Moving from 1st semester (which some people take for the required language credit) to 2nd semester (which is more than likely people who actually want to learn the languae) is a big change. We've learned so much more 'real life' Japanese in the past 8 weeks than I think we learned all last semester! My brain hurts - but it's worth it!
