Life is, more often than not, way too damned short. One minute you're alive, the next you could be dead. Its important to live each moment the best you can.
And its easy to blame the doctors for missing whatever, but they're still just human. They're allowed to make mistakes, just they have harsher consequences. Its no different than when I put my pliers through a live circuit and blew them up, they just have people's lives at stake. So they're not to blame, you can't blame them, unless you make no mistakes yourself.
But its hard because he kept saying like he was dying, and I told him that he wasn't and that he was just aching or sore and that he wasn't allowed to die, not yet. I feel rather foolish because I was so wrong and I wonder how responsible I was for it because of those statements.
Bottom line is, stress and overworking will kill you. Without a doubt, I've believed it for a long while and this only confirms it. Work, but don't over work. Stress but don't over stress. They take tolls on our bodies that we could never understand until its too late.
RIP Boss (Paul), you'll be missed and I'm sorry.
