It's whats for dinner....

1 1/2 -2 cups of long grain rice
1 pound of bulk sausage
1 can of diced tomatoes in juice Any size (adjust rice to 1 1/2 cups for 14 oz can, 2 cups for 28+ can)
1 large or 2 smaller green peppers, chopped
1 package of frozen peas

Brown and crumble sausage in large skillet. When browned add rice and peppers. Stir fry 5 minutes or so.
Add the can of tomotoes and 1 can of water. Simmer until rice is done (about 30 minutes) and little juice remains. Add frozen peas and simmer for about 5 minutes. (You can top with a bit of shreaded cheese if you wish, salt and pepper)

Serve with crescent rolls and salad.

* You can make this until rice is almost aldente, add to cleaned green peppers and bake in the oven for about 20 minutes for stuffed peppers.
