Merry Christmas Everyone!

Sorry I haven't posted in forever - I've been really busy with work & so many other things. But wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year...so hard to believe it's almost 2007 - to remember 2006, I'm stealing this little questionnaire from my dear friend Jess ...I love filling out these things!
1. What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before?
Ummm...let me think, I guess went to the Biltmore Estate in Asheville - yeah so I've lived in North Carolina my entire life & had never been there - but now I have!! Oh & probably the thing I've NEVER done before, was purchase my own car!
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I didn't make any for 2006, but I'll definitely be making some for 2007 - I've got to lose some weight, if it takes getting my ears stapled to do it!
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Several of my friends did, yes, but no one in my family - thank God
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Not very close to me - a couple of Great Aunts or something but no one really closely related
5. What countries did you visit?
None this year - I did in 2005 though
6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006?
Oh I dunno - there are plenty of things
7. What date(s) from 2006 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
July 22 - the infamous road trip; August 2 - dear friends birthday; September 28 (I think) the day my world came crashing to a halt
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Success at work, I guess - I dunno there's been some achievements, especialy getting my insurance license
9. What was your biggest failure?
Plenty of failures - can't pick which was the worst
10. Did you suffer any illness or injury?
Well I fell out the door & down some stairs on Thanksgiving Day - so I'm still suffering a little from that...nothing otherwise
11. What was the best thing you bought?
My Ford Explorer!
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Oh I dunno - that's hard to choose
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
No names mentioned - but some of you know who she is
14. Where did most of your money go?
Gasoline & food
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Season 5 of 24 coming out on DVD; a couple of meetings in the office (yes they were exciting); weekends out with the chicks
16. What song will always remind you of 2006?

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? Probably a little of both
ii. thinner or fatter? A bit larger
iii. richer or poorer? Richer
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Kept my mouth shut

Opened my mouth
20. How will you be spending Christmas?
With family - however it might turn out to be Smackdown if Grandpa's girlfriend shows up - help us all
21. Did you fall in love in 2006?
No
22. How many one-night stands?
None - that's not for me
23. What was your favorite TV program?
24 and WWE Smackdown (yes I live a pathetic life - but I "heart" Chris Benoit)
24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Well I don't "hate" them - just have mixed feelings for some people
25. What was the best book you read?
Probably one of Grisham's books b/c it's probably theo nly book I finished this year - The Last Juror it was good
27. What did you want to get?
Oh who knows....too many things
28. What was your favorite film of this year?
You know - I don't even remember what all I saw this year - that's so sad
29. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I was 24 (great number, huh?) - I had a surprise party at the office & then my parents took me out to eat at Cooleys & I got some treats
30. What one thing made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Getting to know some new friends :)
31. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2006?
My fashion is very unique compared to most people
32. What kept you sane?
Certain friends & crazy ideas

Hahha...where do i begin?

Oh I dunno - I get too stirred up by many political things

One of my friends who moved away

Well had you asked me before the end of September, I would have hands down said Judi - but can't say that anymore - Sandra most definitely & Rhonda

Be careful whatever you do b/c you can & will get hurt if you're not careful
