Why am I so bad at tidying? It was all I meant to do yesterday and today. I just want my room to be vaguely habitable. It had got to the point of only being able to stand in the doorway, be on the bed or on the chair. I want it to be tidy and stay tidy. The flaw in this plan is that I seem to be completely incapable of tidying it. So far I've managed to completely cover the dining room table in piles of paper that have defied filing, and bury the landing and part of the stairs in a pile of clothes. This is after I've filled two binliners and removed one large box of stuff for the charity shop and 14 laptops to go to the tip. I have more books than will fit on the shelves, and more clothes than will fit in the wardrobe, although some more clothes are going. This is what comes of never throwing anything away; you end up with clothes you bought ten years ago lying about and then you don't want to get rid of them because they have developed sentimental value, whereas if they'd just been got rid of a couple years after they were bought, when they went out of fashion, or when I got too fat to wear them, there wouldn't have been a problem *sigh*
Supposed to be meeting Dominique, probably at 2 o'clock, but she hasn't replied to my last text and I don't know where we're meant to be meeting! We had a similar problem the other week when I wasn't getting her texts but I knew what time we were meeting and not where, so I just went into town, rang her, and then within ten minutes of meeting her, 12 hours' worth of texts came through one after the other. Odd...
