yeh, i wonder how popular it is. Though. the gang at jpod101 said that you actually have to place an order weeks in advance! the other big thing is the christmas cake. Basically like their version of strawberry shortcake.
there is also this saying that goes with that cake . Men used to say that women over 25 (25!!!) are like Christmas cake on the 26th: they are used up and stale. >.< thankfully things are SLOWLY starting to change. does not give me hope about finding a young thang.
I wonder how it is for the rest of the year. You think fried chicken is popular the rest of the year?
The age thing is just hysterical to me! It couldn't be like the wine analogy, has to be rude. :D Just lie about your age, everyone else does! I just tell everyone I'm 50, then (hopefully!) they think I look good for my age. ^__^
i don't think the fried chicken is popular the rest of the year.
and, yeh, of course the wine analogy wouldn't work. Wine is just starting to make it's surg into Japanese culture. It's nice too see that their sexist nature is starting to change though, albeit not with everyone. my friend is like "why would you want to date a japanese man? they are soooo sexist!"...and my reply is "and how is that any different than american men?" (no offense to your man. he is obviously not the norm, seeing he married an amazing gal like you!^____^)
heh-heh. yeh, i thought he would not be offended. hee
and....are you up watching the Bleach marathon missie??? i have to say, i have only watched a couple random ones, and was not impressed at all. now that i am watching it in sequence...it's even WORSE!!!! ugh. the only good voice is Chad. and, johnny bosch does a decent job . . .but so far everyone else SUCKS!! what have they done to my precious Isshin! and, rukia SUCKS! not to mention the rest. I am dreadig urahara's voice...i heard it once already..and i know i am goign to be even more upset when i hear it again.
well, they f*ked up all the other voices, i am sure they won't leave renji out of that mix. I think part of the problem is one just gets soooo attached to the seiyuus that one can't imagine anything else. I, quite honestly, REALLY wanted to like the dub version..but it's just not happening. It just makes me want to watch the subs all over again.
oh, btw, watched bleach ep108....ugh. what the hell are they thinking? or rather, what crack pipe are they smokin from?
