Summary: Ryo's sick, Shige's forced to take care of him...chaos ensues.
A/N: After a 3 month hiatus...more like writer's block, I HAVE RETURNED! Ryo's a tad OOC, but that's okay :D Random story here, forreals. Enjoy! <3
"No way, I refuse to."
"But Shige! You're the only NEWS memeber that has off today, and he needs to be taken care of!"
"Why me? He can't stand being around me unless it's necessary!"
"That's not true~"
"What?"
"Nothing. Go and take care of him, that's an order...from me & Yamapi."
"...Screw you Koyama."
Shige slammed his phone shut as he proceeded to bang his head against the wall. Somehow, he got forced to taking care of Ryo, who was home sick. Personally, Shige just wanted to sit at home, sleep as long as he can, maybe dance around in his underwear, then get some school-work done. As he headed for the door, he mumbled about how Koyamama & Yamapapa would suffer horrible injuries for this.
Ryo lied in bed, covered in 3 heavy blankets, with crayons & a coloring book. As he colored in a turtle, there's was a knock on his bedroom door.
"Nishikido-kun? It's Shige...I came to check up on you."
Ryo tossed the coloring book&crayons under his bed, and pretended to be asleep as Shige opened the door.
Shige quietly closed the door, and turned around to see Ryo sleeping. He slowly walked towards his sick bandmate, and placed his hand on Ryo's forehead; it was really warm. Shige decided to shake him gently to wake him.
"Nishikido-kun?"
Ryo groaned, and out of nowhere, smacked Shige in the face with a pillow. With not seeing this coming, Shige landed right on his ass.
"Damnit Nishikido! Why the hell did you do that?"
"Because you're here, bothering me, when I need my beauty sleep."
"I should've known that even lying sick in bed, you'd still be an egotistical bastard..."
"Why thank you Mr. Book-worm for the heart-felt compliment; you just made my day."
Shige twitched at how Ryo's voice just screamed sarcasm. Shige knew this wasn't going to end well, and he didn't want to deal with it anymore.
"You know what, forget it. You seem perfectly capable of watching yourself; I'm leaving."
"No one asked you to come here in the first place..."
"Actually, Koyama & Yamashita-kun did. But Koyama's begging and Yamashita's orders isn't enough to keep me here. Goodbye, Nishikido-kun."
Shige turned around to leave the room, then halted once he heard Ryo having a coughing fit.
"I can leave, he'll be perfectly fine."
"But what if he can't stop coughing and runs out of air, and dies?!"
As his mind was having an inner-battle, Shige turned to look at Ryo coughing like there's no tomorrow; face red and tears coming out of his eyes. Shige walked over to help Ryo sit up. Ryo was trying to smack Shige upside the head everytime Shige touched him. Shige grabbed a cup of water, and slowly poured the contents down Ryo's throat. As Ryo slowly regained oxygen in his lungs, he stared at Shige in confusion.
"Weren't you going to leave?"
"I can't. I could never forgive myself if something happened to you..."
"Aw, you love me!"
"In your dreams. Now, I'm gonna go and make you some soup, since I doubt you've eaten anything today."
"Fine. Don't make it too hot; I don't want a burnt tongue just because you can't cook."
"Whatever. Stay in bed. Oh, and Nishikido-kun..."
"What?"
"You can return to your coloring book now."
As Shige left the room with a smirk, he could hear Ryo screaming about how a Sexy Osaka Man wouldn't be caught dead coloring.
When Shige returned, Ryo was sitting up in bed, pouting with his arms crossed.
"What's wrong with you?"
"I lost my purple crayon."
"You can't be serious..."
Once Shige found Ryo's purple crayon, he handed him the bowl of soup.
"Go on, I didn't over-heat, so you won't burn your precious poison-tongue."
"I can't eat it."
"Why the hell not?!"
"My hands hurt from all the coloring. Will you feed me?"
"No way! You can feed yourself." Shige replied as he felt his cheeks burn up.
"Fine. I'll just go and tell Koyama & PI how bad of a nurse you were..."
At this point, Shige was ready to jump out of the window.
After spending half an hour feeding Ryo soup, ("Not that fast Shige! What are you trying to do, make me choke?!" "Maybe...") and another 20 minutes of arguin with him to take his medicine, ("It's nasty!" "What are you, 5?") Ryo finally fell asleep. Shige sighed relief, glad that this day was almost over. As he was packing his things, he looked up to see Ryo curled in ball, clutching onto the covers, shaking, but looking oh so content.
"How can someone so egotistical & sadistic look that adorable when they're sleeping?"
As Shige placed the blankes snug around Ryo, he began to mumble in his sleep, and grabbed Shige's hand which cause him to jump an the sudden contact.
"Uh, Nishikido-kun?"
"Don't leave, stay for a little longer, please?"
"You should rest..."
"I won't go to sleep until you get your ass in this bed."
Shige weighed out his options, and cautiously slid into the bed next to Ryo. Next thing he knew, Ryo grabbed onto his waist with a content sigh. Stiffening at the contact, he prayed Ryo would go to sleep soon, and not notice how Shige's heart was about to jump out of his chest.
Two hours later, Shige woke up, and almost jumped when he noticed how close Ryo's face was to his. Not even aware of what he was doing, he brushed the hair out of Ryo's face, and gently kissed his forehead. When he leaned back, he saw Ryo looking up at him. Needless to say, Shige screams and falls out of the bed, accidentally brining Ryo with him. Shige looks up at Ryo who was on top of him with flushed cheeks looking at anything but Shige. Shige tried to remove himself from under Ryo, but Ryo placed his hand on Shige's chest to prevent him from moving. Shige slowly looked up at him, and Ryo slowly bent down and placed his lips on Shige's. Shige gave an involuntary shudder, and laced his hands behind Ryo's neck, and gave into that poison-tongue.
Two weeks later, Ryo called out of work to take care of Shige since he was the one who got him sick. Needless to say, Ryo nursed him back to health faster than any medicine could.
