interns and such
Hi All!
I love the entries from post-Friday night. . .I cannot believe how fast news travels. It was so fabulous being surrounded by "extended family" and I think I may just still be in shock. Like the whole thing was in some alternate reality. I still cannot believe it.
There's lots of family and friends that I've yet to tell - I've been rather slow on the telephone. . .let's see what has happened since then:
- Saturday we had a most delightful car ride home with a stop to drop off Jess and see her mom!
And then my friend Andrea BUSTED into my apartment with a glorious amount of white roses and huge white and green balloons. We went to a celebratory dinner hosted by Andrea and Keri. . .and then Sunday I picked out a house in South Boston! (ok, that part really is in an alternate reality) before that, I went to Trinity and was greeted by the smiling faces of Anna, Kendra, Dinah and Paige. It was fabulous.
Saturday afternoon - a visit to my favorite store "Target" after pajama brunching it at Sister Sorrel. And then a small gathering Sunday night with Elaine! And Deacon made an appearance, too.
Monday. . .Caity arrived as our intern! It is too much fun having her here all day. I just hope she likes it here! We had lunch at Finagle yesterday and today with Rachel in the conference room. We also checked out livejournal entries and a bundle of cards from HYP : ) This morning we had the weekly Tuesday meeting with Rob. Very cool.
Tonight dinner with my college roommate at Figs. Yummmm.
