Room 232: A Fond Farewell...

Feb 11, 2006 00:14

As Jessica listens to the messages on her voicemail from her daughter and her sister ( Here) she covers her mouth with her hands and tries to keep calm and think straight. Her family was completely falling apart. She needed to go home. Now. What to do, what to do? She quickly calls Benson who assures her he would be there tonight to pick her up, and not to worry. She hangs up the phone and spins around. What to do? There were people she wanted to thank, people she wanted to apologize to...but there wasn’t enough time to run around the island saying good-byes. She wrote a note on a doily and hung it on the outside of her door:

To all of the lovely people I have had the pleasure of meeting here at Fandom High,
I am afraid I must be going now. Nothing is wrong, there are just a few things I need to attend to back home...In saying goodbye, I feel like I should say something important...but I just do not know what to say. I guess all I can say is to not be sad. Smile. Be happy. Be happy. After all, that’s all we really have...
Love Always, Jessica Tate

An open box sits outside her door, containing the following:

For Pheobe - Jessica’s light green gown, her favorite, with a post-it that reads “You were the most wonderful secret sibling anyone could ask for. Please accept this as a token of my appreciation for your kindness.”
For Kiki - A pocketbook from Bloomingdales, with a post-it that reads “I know you have a bag to carry packages here and there...but here is something for you to carry your things. Enjoy.”
For Harry - A Quiji Board with a post-it that reads “Although I doubt you’re the type to even be into magic at all, you might get a kick out of this...enjoy.”
For Susan - A romance novel with a post-it that reads “This is quite the funny one. Laugh and enjoy it dear.”
For Angel - A big pillow covered in a white lace pillowcase with a post-it that reads “For Sean. Give him a hug for me. I’ll miss you both.”
For Lee - Her basket of tea supplies with a post-it that reads “Sorry I never got to pay you back that cup I promised you...hope this makes up for it dear.”
For Sakura - 3 pairs of her finest Italian shoes, in their original boxes with a post-it that reads “Add these to your current pile. Thanks for sharing yours with me.”
For Elizabeth - An antique tea cup and saucer, made in France, with a post-it that reads “Don’t worry...you can drink coffee in this if you like.”
For Han - A blanket with rose pattern and white lace trim and a post-it that reads “Just incase you decide to go out onto the roof again.”

[ooc - Due to real life reasons, FH time requirements, and other things I find I must make Jessica leave. I don’t have the time to play her here as she deserves to be played. Jessica and I have enjoyed meeting and talking with you, and it truly has been a wonderful experience. ~Thank you~ If anyone wants/needs a goodbye scene to be played out with Jessica, I would be more than happy to do that :). Jessica will be in her room packing all day, if that works. If not just let me know]
