Parade
We had a parade of visitors last weekend. Mark stayed with us Saturday night. He had been "working" at the newly reopened Ford Plantation golf course. He left Sunday morning after breakfast and my mom and grandmother arrived a few hours later.
Today Lindsey's high school band led the Veteran's Day parade. Last year, it was their first ever parade and they were very last in the parade. This year they were only behind the police and the people carrying flags. I wonder how you go from last to the first band? Scott and I watched the parade across from Clary's. We decided that next year we are going to come half an hour earlier and get an outside table outside Clary's so we can eat breakfast while watching the parade.
After the parade the band had a cookout at the high school. After eating the kids played touch football. The last play of the game Lindsey faked a punt and ran with the ball to make a touchdown. She was so happy.
