My internet was being a pain on Friday, so I wasn't able to join the Cranky Women on Zoom. I don't recall what I did instead, but it was probably get an earlier start on my exercise and night time routine.
On Saturday I joined the Starsky & Hutch crowd to watch Huggy Can't Go Home. I can't recall seeing that episode before and found it very interesting even without it containing many Starsky or Hutch scenes. This particular episode should have been used to pitch a Huggy Bear spin-off and I'm disappointed that Antonio Fargas didn't get it. I had to leave the house before the chat ended due to a conflict with Burn Fest (a mostly annual potluck for the Dorsai Irregulars and other friends of the host). I stayed on the call until we drove out of cell phone coverage and it suddenly dropped.
Burn Fest was lots of fun, but not much was burnt thanks to the rain that started that evening. Still, the gathering went well and there was a lot of yummy food. I worked on the hat shown on today's page while there.
On Sunday I met with my crafting friends for a couple of hours before leaving with Jebra to attend the BCB concert. I brought my knitting with me and worked on the hat during the concert. The music was great and I think this was the first concert where I absolutely loved all of the music.
Monday was back to work and trying to watch what's on the DVR. That's going to take a long time; I sorted the recordings alphabetically and was not happy to learn I have 480 recorded. I'm years behind on watching and with my job I have less time to watch than I did when I worked for Simplix. I also have less time for crafting, which has taken me a while to understand. It doesn't seem possible since I'm working from home and that's where the TV and my yarn are, but I no longer have long stretches of time where I can devote to either one.
