We drove to Ionia for my mom's visitation on Thursday. There were quite a few people in attendance and some beautiful flower arrangements. The funeral mass took place the following morning at Mom's church and I was relieved that the celebrant was not the one I remember from the last time I was there because that one was a terrible speaker. After the mass we met in the church basement for a luncheon, then went out to the cemetery for the internment. Following that, hugs were exchanged with my siblings and then we headed home.

On Saturday, Jebra headed down to Indiana to visit with his folks while I stayed at home and looked after Fiona. I didn't do any knitting because I was still annoyed that the hat I started in the car on Thursday went so terribly wrong.

On Sunday I ran the online knitting group and I picked up my knitting again. I cast on both a swiffer pad and another hat.

Monday was back to work then band practice for Jebra.

Last night should have been a summer meeting for the the Black Sheep Knitting Guild (and maybe was) but I didn't get a reminder and it was cold and raining heavily, so I decided to go home and watch tv instead.
