As I said on the page, the big event of the week was the DI Convention. The page does not accurately represent how much fun I had as today's pictures just did not want to fit into the individual frames. In retrospect I wish I had selected a single more interesting photo. Such as the one of the DI's emotional support dragon snoozing in someone's bed. It wasn't until I saw that image that I realized just how large he really is.
What with being out of town, there were no zooms over the weekend. That felt really strange.
Last night we had the Member to Member sale at the Black Sheep Knitting Guild's monthly meeting. I don't know how many folks sold stuff. I was trying not to come home with more good yarn but once again I failed. I have one lovely skein of Round Mountain Fibers hand dyed yarn from Vermont. The colorway is called Honey Bee, and is, as you might guess, yellow and black. I have no idea what I'm going to do with this 400 yards of Superwash Merino but I need to find a pattern that will really show it off.
In mom news, I just got off the phone with her and she's doing great. Only 16 more days until she gets her new hip installed.
