I'm rushed for time this morning so this will be brief. I had a pretty good weekend in spite of learning my mom's in the hospital again. We don't quite know what happened other than she seems to have gotten tangled up in her nightgown and fell. She was found, checked over, and put to bed. In the morning blood was discovered in her toilet, so off to hospital she went. Scans were done, but her oxygen levels were off so the colonoscopy her doctors wanted performed had to wait until her oxygen and CO2 levels were where they belonged. The colonoscopy revealed two questionable areas so those were bound off (or something). There was so much blood they couldn't tell if everything was found and repaired so I believe she's going to have another one done soon. Today they are giving her blood again and she's supposed to be having a swallow test to ensure there are no issues with her lungs.
In yard news, we're in trouble with the city again. One of the neighbor's dogs caught and killed a rat or found a dead rat (no one is sure) but wife became hysterical and called the city and he had to come out and inspect. We talked on the phone this morning and consequently we have more changes to make.
For some better news (for questionable levels of better), I'm getting my bad tooth extracted today. Having the thing become repeatedly infected finally convinced my hip surgeon that I don't need to wait the full three months between the new hip & extraction. It'll be nice to be able to stop worrying about having an active infection that close to my brain.
