We had Friday off from work and that's when Jebra left for Indiana to spend Christmas with his folks and siblings. I stayed behind to care for Fiona since now that she's on wet food I can no longer just leave her home with a big dish of kibble. I had two zooms while he was gone, one with the Cranky Women that night and another with the Stitch & Bitch group on Sunday. In between times I worked on my crochet, watched a bunch of stuff on the DVR (and still managed to fall further behind). If I'd stop recording new stuff I might catch up but then I'd miss cultural experiences like Watching the original Die Hard for Christmas. I'd never seen it before nor had I realized just how attractive Alan Rickman was.
I completed four cat beds before Jebra returned home, which took him longer than anticipated as the van developed mechanical problems on his way down. Fortunately it was still drivable and the problem didn't begin until he was nearish his folks. It went into the repair shop on Monday and was functional again by late afternoon. What with that extra time crocheting my new total of cat beds produced is now 845, with 77 of them being completed this year.
Last night was the last Black Sheep Knitting Guild Zoom of the year. Not too many of us showed up for it (under a dozen, I think) but I had fun seeing everyone and finished a charity hat while we were on the call.
