Life seems to be speeding up again and I don't like it. I did manage to invest approximately 18 hours of knitting into my lovely hat. I also went to see Cinderella at the Baldwin. The show was much more peopled than the previous one. To get in you had to be masked which made me feel better, plus once again there was absolutely no one seated near us.
On Friday night we stayed at work late to use the great internet connection we have at the office and played a Virtual Ingress First Saturday. It really was Saturday where we played (Cambridge NZ). There were a lot of players and the group solved the puzzle before I even had a chance to look at it. I was outscored on AP and recharges not that I expected to do well as I did not. We were back at the house in time for me to join the Cranky Women on Zoom. That was nice as well.
On Saturday my favorite Christmas Party took place. I got out my party clothes but stayed home as I was nervous about how much I've been coughing and because I'm feeling run down. The cough hasn't gone away but it seems less frequent and it never progressed to the point where I felt I should go in for a COVID test. My hunch is that the cough is related to my allergies and nothing more. Instead of the party I stayed home and joined other friends on Zoom.
Sunday was Zoom with Minneapolis Stitch & Bitch. I have no idea what I did afterwards other than watch some tv and spend at least an hour on my exercise bike.
Monday and Tuesday have also faded from my memory although I know I didn't get to knit for more than a half hour on Monday and no knitting whatsoever last night.
Mom's doing well and we spoke for a good long while on Sunday while my hat was felting in the washer. My brother Brad has decorated her house for Christmas, to the point where my mom's concerned about her electric bill. I expect it looks extremely festive as my brother is a member of the "more lights and glitter is always better" group.
