As the scrapbook page indicates, this was another Zoomy week. By the time I was done with Stitch & Bitch on Sunday, I was worn out from all that socializing.
I didn't explicitly say, but four of us from SE Michigan virtually invaded Canada to play Ingress in Sackville. And all of us scored in the top ten, so go us.
Not much in the way of mom news other than she's had her first COVID shot (Yay and Whew!) and she's looking forward to flying down to see my sister KC in either April or May. Might be April as we were getting worried she wouldn't get her shots before it was time to go to the airport.
In knitting news, I finished another hat, one that looks almost exactly like the one from last week except that the brim is wider. I wasn't paying attention and knitted nearly twice the number of rows I was supposed to knit. Oh well, better sun shade for the recipient. I cast on for that hat again; this time I'm going to reduce the number of rows by four rather than two as even though it's a child-size according to the pattern, the minus-two version still fits my head. In crochet news, I'm working on my 14th cat bed of the year. The plan is still to knit more and crochet less during 2021 so I know I won't be anywhere near the number of cat beds I produced last year.
