We went to the movies twice this week, which is highly out of character for me. Both were runs at the inexpensive theaters, $3.00 tickets at one and $5.00 tickets at the other. I don't remember which was which but I can tell you I much preferred Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse to Mary Poppins Returns. For one thing, the music in the Spider-Verse movie was much more to my taste. In Mary Poppins Returns, the two things that stood out to me were Mary's dress at the, um, Carnival? It looked like it was a chalk drawing but I'm pretty sure that was not CGI but actual fabric. The other thing was Big Ben ringing at the right time.
In other news, my mom celebrated another birthday yesterday and was having a good day when I talked with her. And this morning I put our tax forms to the post office and mailed them.
