This was one of those weeks filled with music, or maybe I should say live music, as we almost always have music playing in the car and I usually play something or other off youtube when I'm at my desk. We wake up to music too and
jebra is either watching a video or playing a recording when he's downstairs.
On other fronts, I think I have come up with a workable plan to affix the Anthrocon Security logo to a cat bed. I bought wool roving and I'm going to try needle felting the logo to the bottom of a bed, basically sandwiching the logo between the bed's bottom and the roving, skipping the areas where the printing appears. I don't know if that will be an extremely slow process or if it will really work, but the first step is to find the time to try it out.
Nothing else I can think of to report other than I went to the eye doctor last night. I ordered new glasses, this time with distance-only lenses. The doctor said doing so will not hurt my eyes but it may prove to be annoying if I'm constantly taking my glasses on and off. Seeing as I've been doing just that for the past six months I don't think it will be a problem. I did learn that I have cataracts in both eyes (I knew about the one in my right eye) and that they are growing. He thinks that I won't need surgery any sooner than 1.5 to 2 years but if the rate of growth slows it could be much much longer (15 years). Nothing to do but wait and see what happens.
