Project 52

After finishing the Barney Christmas Scarf I knocked out another five cat beds for the shelters and rescues. That made me rather happy as my crafting output has dramatically declined since exercise became a regular part of my daily existence.

We left for New Year's Eve with jebra's brother and sister (and respective spouses and our nephews) on Saturday. On the drive we saw a passenger car with a dog crate strapped to one of those trailer-hitch platforms. When we got closer we could see the sign affixed to the crate reading something along the lines of "Don't worry, the dog is not in the crate. The dog is driving the car."

We arrived in Pendleton around dinner time and had pizza with the family. We stayed until quite late and then went to our hotel in Noblesville. Staying there worked well as our tradition is to have coffee with friends on the morning of New Year's Eve at Noble Coffee & Tea. We skipped going to the yarn store afterwards as I have more than enough good yarn to get me through 2018 without buying more. (I may need to purchase some crap acrylic for the cat beds.)

New Year's Eve was spent with the family, then it was back to Noblesville and bed. The next morning we got up and returned to the house where we attempted to run billing for work. It did not go well and, in fact, it still isn't done. We were supposed to upgrade some stuff on our end but that didn't happen before the end of the year. We can't process charges until the upgrades are finished; hopefully we can get that done today.
