This was another busy week, so much so I'm posting today's page late. There was lots of laundry, groceries were purchased, cat beds crocheted, and two trips to the zoo. Memorial Day itself was extremely busy as
jebra was asked to take part in the Franklin Village Band's Memorial Day Celebration. In years past he's taken part as one of the drummers, but this year they asked him to play sousaphone. I thought he did a good job, but he said he felt uncomfortable accepting compliments on his playing.
Afterwards we went to Ann Arbor as some friends who live in Arkansas would be stopping at some mutual friends during their travels and a whole bunch of us wanted to see them. I think there had to be at least a dozen of us and a nice time was had by all.
Tuesday morning was back to work although I had a doctor's appointment beforehand. This one was with my new physical doctor and I came away with a prescription for a recumbent bicycle or tricycle, a very simple exercise (while standing, roll up onto my toes then rock back onto my heels), and an OTC foot brace.
