Hello 2010!
The spring semester starts in a few days which means seeing clients for the first time. It should be interesting to say the least, considering that no one in our program feels prepared in any way to treat clients... I rather not dwell on it though. At least I got an assistantship for this semester which should help a bit with the burden of tuition!
Pedro and I spent Christmas in Dallas which has been the tradition over the last three years. This year, we actually had a white Christmas! I hadn't seen snow in quite a while so it was an unexpected but welcome surprise. About 75% of the time we were there, we spent shopping so I think I'm good wardrobe wise for the next year. :) We also saw Avatar in 3-D IMAX which was a neat experience. The graphics, especially when they were in the forrest, were beautiful and I ended up liking the movie more than I had expected. On the last day there we went to the stockyards in Ft. Worth and saw the cattle drive, where the longhorn bulls are basically walked around the plaza every day. Pedro ate about 5 plates full of ribs and then rode the mechanical bull which was very amusing! Oh, and we saw baby wolf cubs which may be one of the most adorable creatures on earth!
Now that the new year is here, I guess it's time to make some resolutions that will inevitably be broken within a month...
1. Don't stress over school because it's not worth it!
2. Go to the gym everyday I'm at FAU, and maybe try some new group classes
3. Eat healthier
And that's all I've got for now.
