it's called an attention grabber.

to get you thinking. it was actually a thing for self defence class where they brought in 3 public safety officers in humongous red padding suits and we got to beat them up.

james just don't read this. (it pisses him off because he thinks girls can't defend themselves.) but seriously, some of the moves we were taught would hurt like crap. like eye gouging and kicking knees backwards.

but anyway, it was really really fun, whether or not it was useful. except the helmets we had to wear were really tight and i nearly freaked out when i tried to put it on. I'm not claustrophobic, but when i feel like something won't be able to come off again it freaks me out.

so the three guys would vary what they did, but wwe couldn't hear what they were saying, so we'd just punch them all, and afterwards they'd stop us and be like, "that guy was asking if you were ok and you kneed him in the crotch."

I had a hard time taking it seriously. the full body contact happened when i turned to run from one guy and slammed into another. i started cracking up and so did he.

but some of the things they did were crazy. sometimes they'd just grab a girl and tip over bakcwards so she had to get up off the floor, and one girl they just picked up and swung around.

and they videotaped us, so we get to watch it tuesday!
