I literally do not understand why my progressive friends are trying to convince one another not to vote for President Obama. I think one of their positions is that he wasn't the president they wanted. That's valid. No one else will be either, but it's still valid to choose not to vote for that reason. But another reason for some is that they don't think the election matters at all. OK. Valid. So then why are you stressing about it? I'll be voting for President Obama for U.S. President 2012-2016. It's not the most important job on Earth, but I still have a preference in who fills it. I think the primary reason for me is the changes that have been made in health insurance rules. I'll also be voting for Anna and Drew on Dancing With The Stars, if anyone wants to wring their hands about that. I'm going to have my coffee black this morning, no sugar, even though it won't stop the threat of indefinite military detention. I'm going to choose grey socks, even though it won't close tax loopholes.
