BATTLE ON

You've been there for me for so long,
You taught me how to battel on
Given me what i need for a long while
but all I need is to see you smile

you taught me how to smile again,
You told me she was never a friend,
You told me there's somewhere I'll belong
You taught me how to to move on

You taught me everything I know
You knew just when to let me go
They said you could never survive
But I couldn't ask for a better life

You've been through what most would call hell
There was no one there when you fell
But youv'e battled on, you're still here
Through all the guilt, anger and fear

i want your face to be bright again
You know I'll always be your friend
While you search for a better day
I am here every step of the way

Dry your tears, I'm by your side
because in you I confide
You'll battle on, you'll pull through
Please just know I love you
