*feels the sudden urge for food*

*specifically... food in the form of vanilla ice-cream with a hefty sprinkling of coriander and chives*

What's that stuff on your ice-cream? Is it sprinkles?

Uhm... no. It's chives and coriander...

When women have babies inside them they sometimes want to eat weird things.

*look of absolute horror*

WHY!?

*shrugs*

I have no idea. But right now it's just what I was wanting to eat.

But but but but but...why does the baby make you want weird stuff?

I'm really not sure, hon. I've read some books but have never been able to find out why this happens. But it does.

Happened to your Auntie Caranthire too. She had a thing for liver, kidneys, and very raw steak.

Uhm... possibly. It might be because there's stuff in the weird food that helps the baby grow. Vitamins and minerals.

You're telling me.

They also sometimes do strange things to how you feel, so you wind up getting upset over little things for no real reason.

Like Angsty ada? He's not pregnant...

Uhm... kind of... but different. He's just like that. But this is caused by chemicals in your body that have to change around because of the baby so it sometimes does strange things to your brain.

So you might see me bursting into tears or getting angry about something, but try not to worry, it won't be serious.

Oh. Okay. :S

*finds this whole pregnancy thing slightly worrying*

Don't worry, sweetie. If anything, most of my upset will probably be directed Curvo's way. It sort of works that way.
