Mike is back and I am happy. I couldn't stop smiling when I picked him up at the airport. I was leaning up agaisnt a pillar outside security and he walked up with his usual swagger in his suit and tie. He's doing better now. From what he told me of the funeral, it was a beautiful ceremony with some very touching moment including when the 50 or so Syracuse students that came down linked arms around her grave site and sang the school's alma mater in a four-part harmony.

He's out golfing now, trying to put everything behind him so he can focus on school again come tomorrow.
Tonight we're going to church, and then I'll be glued to my television watching the Oscars.

I am so happy that he is back. I missed him more in the past two days than I did over much of Winter Break when we were apart.

I'm back to being productive. I have a take-home exam due tomorrow as well a presentation in Neotropics. And Tuesday I have a presentation in Islam in Africa and a lab practical for Biological Anthropology. sigh. Time doesn't stop moving, that's for sure...
