I will tell you this from all the men that I know who weren't circ'd until later in life. Do it while they are young! One friend of mine is father to two boys who will soon be preteens. He was circ'd at 15 when his parents converted but he wanted to convert too so it was his choice. He said it hurt like hell but that he didn't really look back. Yes, he'd had sex before when he was uncirc'd but he said that he liked being circ'd just not being able to remember the pain. He says that whether because the next time he had sex he was older or was now not as sensitive, he had a better time. Apparently for all the pain they did a good job. He decided, even though he's doesn't follow Islam anymore, to have his son's circ'd out of personal preference but as babies and as far as he knows, they don't remember. Did it hurt at the time, yes, but apparently they got a numbing salve for them which was more than he apparently remembers getting. Others got it done at like 8 to 11 and one at 23 but pretty much all of them said that if you are going to do it, you want to do it young. I suppose they could just be sissies but that's them. *shrug*

i wouldn't dream of waiting until he was older, unless he wanted to! ouch to converting LOL. i don't think anything involving cutting pieces of your body off can be considered "sissy!"
