hey cool! you posted!;-) I was just thinking about you this week and wondering how that whole pregnancy thing was coming along. It sounds rather rough, tho imagine you will forget alot of the irksome parts once you have the little one in your arms to hold instead of inside you with loads of liquid and all that!
What color paint do you need for baby's room? I got a load of free paint from freecycle that I havent used yet. Theres some earmarked for specific places(that are just waiting for to be cleaned so they can be painted) but theres loads left that is just to be used wherever.IF I didnt already donate it, I also got a wall border thing thats for akids or baby's room as well.
I jsut got my reiki attunement and Im still getting the hang of it, but if you want I can do soem reiki on you(even send some to your dad, once I get a bit better at that!)if you like.
I have an lj friend who is a doula her handle on here is avaha eyah (i always spell it wrong but its on my profile) maybe she could tell you some useful stuff too to help you get more comfortable.
anyway, glad to see you posting even if you are moderately irked-i hope the irksy stuff clears out soon so you can have more fun;-)
I dunno. Her kicking is precious. I love it. I can feel her move, imagine her playing, talk to her, sing to her, kinda bounce her around and such. And I'm the only one who really can. Some people have felt her kick but I get to feel each little foot paddle and hiccup. It's awesome! I've never felt this way before.
As for paint, I want something that looks like we watercolored her room in purple. I have this image of not a pastel purple but a pale purple if that makes any since. The bedding that I was given is classing Winnie the Pooh but I wanted a color that would go with anything that we put in there. I'm wanting more of a mix/matched bohemian theme but that could just be me trying to project my own tastes on to her and she's not even born yet...shame on me huh :)
I would appreciate any good energy that you can send my father's and my way. Especially for him, he's very uncomfortable with it in his bones, heart, lymphatic and adrenal glands. He's uncomfortable, in pain and the poor man even has a toothache right now. That just seems like overkill to me... Like being paralized from the legs down and then getting a UTI...Murphy's law sucks. Anywho. I ramble...so sorry. And of course, any good thoughts you can have for me and little Kay would be wonderful.
