No sonogram or ultrasound this time. I am to be set up with a level 2 Ultrasound before the next appointment but today was just a check in and arranging tests. She did check the heart beat it was faint but that's probably largely because of my big f'n gut. She doesn't want me to gain any weight if I can help it. I am already carrying more than enough weight for the baby to work off of and to help with my future dairy production. That being the purpose of gaining weight, other than the physical growth of the baby, I should strive to eat as healthy as possible while minimizing calories. I should not be trying to loose any weight, short what the baby takes to make itself. This will be just as hard as it sounds. I can cut the fast food if Billy cooks those times that I'm tired or my feet are swollen. I can cut down on the milk. I plan to start a food journal because other than those two things, I think i eat about the same as before. I also need to keep being physically active like I have this last week. Oh and she didn't think that my having swollen feet and that numb spot was anything special. *shrug* I disaggree but what the hell do I know.
I was asked by a friend today, what about the baby shower. Ok. I am not having one as late as some ladies have them. They wait until the last month and I think that's crazy. I want to have my baby room done by then so I'm not worrying about it while I'm a whale and can't do much about it. I am thinking of hosting one for my friends down here in...say..October or early November. That way my family can do theirs whenever they feel like it if they decide to do one. If you have a suggestion, will have tests, vacations, finals or some timing issue you want me to consider, just message me or email me. If you know of a good place to have one or something, that would also be helpful. It's not going to be anything ultra spiffy and probably will be potluck. I'll be working on this and I'll be requesting email and snail mail addresses from everyone so I can get invitations to ya'll.
