38 Week Checkup
Yesterday was my 38 week checkup. I am still 2cm dialated and 60% effaced like I was last week. Evan's heartbeat was 156 and somehow I lost 1 lb. so I am back to 19 lb. total weight gain. *shrugs*
My doctor said he doesn't think I will make it to my due date (on what basis, I'm not sure), but that if Evan doesn't come on his own by my due date (February 3) I will be induced no later than that following Friday, February 6. So now we have a definitive date of the latest I will get to meet my little boy! :D Very very very very exciting!!!!!
I had contractions (real ones, not ye olde Braxton Hicks ones--I get those all the time) on Saturday night, Tuesday night and last night.
Sometime in the next 12-15 days he will be here!
Next week is my last week of work before I start maternity leave. Weird!
