Oh, this was such a lovely chapter!(Actually, more accurately, lovely chapters, but I'll just count it as one in this review, if that's okay!) I really, really enjoyed it!
I have to say, again, that I loved the language! The detailed descriptions and flowery word choice really reminded me of those classic books, like Little Women or Gone With the Wind (my personal favorite!)! It all really added a lot of quality to this fic!
I loved how you showed Ron's anger; it was so accurate and in-character for him! Once again, I loved how his canonical personality fit into this new setting! And Ginny was wonderfully written too! I loved her description, and how she seemed to have grown up, rather than being like a child, in Harry's eyes! Malfoy was really in-character too; his dialogue really seemed to suit him so well; I was strongly reminded of canon Malfoy! Sorry, I'm still addressing him as Malfoy, even if he IS the... um... Duke of Wiltshire. Hermione's instability and subsequent indignation were terrific! I loved her character and personality here; once again, so like canon! Wonderful work with the characterizations!
Did I sense a bit of... Ginny/Draco? It's probably just me, never mind. But the Ron/Hermione was absolutely brilliant here! I'm an avid Ron/Hermione shipper, and this was so, totally wonderful! I loved the dialogue and the kiss and Ron's feelings were depicted superbly! Wonderful job with the romance; I hope to see more! YAY!
I know I'm missing something. Oh, whatever. Can't wait to see Snape!

I had hoped to get everyone canon. Human nature trancends wizarding/historical boundries obviously!
Draco will flirt with anyone. Let's hope he is not out to ruin little Ginny's character...
