need to keep this up
I haven't written in here in a while, and so much things have happened! I don't know if I can remember them all, and if I can, I might be too lazy to type them all down. Maybe I should bullet them, so it'll be easier and more organized. I'm also going to try to keep this brief as possible; I'm feeling a bit irritated cause I haven't had a cigarette all day. (I've been broke so I haven't been to buy my own pack.)
-Tito wants me to move in with him by early next month. The people who live in that side house are moving out, and his parents are offering it to him for 500 a month, which if I move in with him, would only 250 each for us. WHICH IS EFFIN AWESOME! But I gotta find a job first. :o/ I know when as summer's ending, there will be spots open and all those places I applied at will be calling me back
-Pookie died a few days ago. :o( He was ran over. Jasmine and Justine were crying. They still got Jack, a little kitten they've had for a couple weeks, but it's still sad. I want to get Justine a new kitten.
-I have a new crush...but I think that topic will have to be in a separate entry, so I can make it private....
-I'm 18 now. Durrr. Nothing's changed really. I need to go get my permit ASAP and my gov. ID....I want to have my license by next month and a car, hopefully. I need to ask my grammy when I can get into my account so I can pull out some money for the car. But I'm not asking her til I get a job, so she won't think I'll be spending my money for bullshit.
-Mom and Dad are being assholes and fighting with each other AS USUAL, my mom won a court case. She doesn't have to pay child support anymore cause years ago when that case happened my dad lied about where my mom lived at the time, and she wasn't summoned to court..she had proof. So he was pissed and now he's not letting Drena stay with her the whole summer. It says in the court papers (when he first got custody of Drena and I) that Mom is only allowed to have us one month out of the summer, and that she can only get us every other weekend...wait, not me anymore, since I'm 18. But my dad's being a stupid dick as usual and he's doing this to get back at my mom. Ugh. It's drama, it's stressing me out. This is why I can't quit smoking.
-Bands I've seen since Warped Tour: Boys Night Out (on Tuesday, they were great), Pierce The Veil, The Dear Hunter (awesome!), Four Letter Lie, Portugal. The Man, The Photo Atlas, PlayRadioPlay!, and Calvin and I went to a free Myspace Secret Show for Rilo Kiley last night in Eagle Rock. I still have the wristband on. They were super super good, I had no idea that it was their first show in two years until they announced it onstage! And Jenny Lewis, what an onstage persona. She exudes sexuality in a classy way (the outfit she wore last night was ridicuously sexy). I love her.
That's about it for right now. Eisley's new record Combinations comes out next Tuesday, but they have it up for previewing on their myspace...I can't stop listening to it! It's soo fucking good. It's more rock and less "dreamy" than the first one, but it's still damn good. Better, even. Eisley, Rilo Kiley....god, these girls make me want to be in a band even more and create kickass music.
