Drabble: Kitten

Arthur woke to the feel of something wet touching his cheek.
"Merlin it's way to early to be doing that. And I need to be ready in five minutes to meet with my father," Arthur sighed but still not opening his eyes.
Arthur's chamber doors swung open with a crash as Merlin hurried in with Arthur's breakfast plate. Looking over at the bed Merlin smiled.
"Morning Sire. Did you have a good sleep? Your breakfast is ready and you need to hurry up and get ready." Merlin giggled, "So you met our new pet?"
Arthur's eyes shot open only to meet a tiny white kitten looking up at him.
"Oh didn't I tell you? I brought us a kitten."
