OMG SHERLOCK HOLMES!!!
So my mom and I went to go see "Sherlock Holmes" today, absolutely fantastic!!!
I've read a few Sherlock Holmes' books and researched quite a bit, when I couldn't be bothered to read the books, so my knowledge of Holmes is not too shabby, and I utterly adored this movie! I mean it looks fabulous to start with, LONDON!!! I had a little homesick spell there, especially considering that my mom and I kept speculating what part of London that was supposed to be in the Victorian era....AH it was amazing!
And being the dork that I am, the whole movie I kept comparing everything to House, and yes that made it far more enjoyable too :)!!!
Holmes +Irene Adler= HUDDY!!! Ah I've only read about Irene Adler online, I've never actually opened the story she's in, I might do now, but I've always read that the character of Cuddy is loosely based off of Irene, and I SO see the similarities!
AAHH She's amazing! The only woman to ever outwit Holmes, his adversary, sexual tension galore and protecting him!! UM HELLO CUDDY!!!
They way that they act around each other just rings off Huddy, of course though the Holmes and Watson interactions could take place in a House episode between House and Wilson and we wouldn't be any wiser.
FANTASTIC plot, FANTASTIC ACTING, just FANTASTIC in general! If you haven't seen it, you must!
