Now that I'm getting the VFR on the road I'll be able to put a little more time and trouble into the Radian to make it nicer than the original plan, which was to get it going enough to ride it every day. I just pulled the carbs off (PITA, but you know this) and am in the process of putting them back on in an attempt to figure out why it stalls when I rev the motor. It's very possible that it's a fuel flow problem, so I'll be calling Derek from the Radian list for a new one and see where it goes from there.
I'm probably going to sell the forks and rear hub off my VFR to finance a used R6 or a new XB9R. If that is all I need to get one then I'll keep the Radian and restore it fully. If not I may have to sell it. I like the idea of having two bikes "just in case" but financial reality will rear it's head every once and awhile. I've never done a restoration so this will be my first, so I'm kind of hoping I can get away with just parting out the VFR and keep the Radian.
Thanks for dropping by and giving me those tips I really do appreciate it.
