weekend fun
well, its monday of a 4 day weekend (for me, since i don't have friday classes and we get MLK day off) and i have, of course, not gotten much homework done, but that should all change this afternoon as soon as i get off my ass and start being productive.
i have also had a surprisingly busy social calendar this weekend. friday i went out with caitlin for a friend's 21st b-day, turned out to be not the most fun thing in the world, but we came home and watched some sex and the city and that made it all better. saturday we went out to brunch and then to the grand opening of this shoe store which was so cool and the owner is awesome and i have to go back once i have money again and buy something there! it was quite the cosmopolitan day for us really, wandering around cute shops with starbucks in hand, what i hope my life will be like someday. yesterday went to Beth's for a little get together which was much fun, i really need to hang out with her more often, and tonight i'm watching the golden globes with maegan, caitlin, and possibly beth. so for once i feel like i actually have a life, which figures that i discover this just before i graduate from this place. but i guess i'll just have to enjoy it while i'm here.
and of course its grey and incredibly rainy outside which just makes me want to sit inside with a good book and a warm heater and do nothing, but then i really have the urge to do something like that most weekends rather than the homework i should be doing :-P
