Nobody puts baby in a corner......guess I'm not a baby then!
We moved things around today, the whole games room has changed for the better. A few things were tossed, thankfully we have a hard rubbish pick up this week, perfect timing!! The ols couch made it's way into Mk2's room along with the old tv >=( Not happy about that one, I don't like tv's in bedrooms, it's a pet hate of mine. Mk1 scored the corner unit that the tv was on, it fits in his room really well, which is good.
Anyway I was getting rather annoyed where my desk was, it was just an awkward spot, between the door and window. Everyone would be walking around me, letting animals in or out. Very hard to concentrate on writing when all these things are going on around you. Also no privacy and everyone would scare the hell out of me when they'd come up behind me. So now I'm over in the corner but with my back to the wall, looking into the room. I actually have a 'nook/area' just for me, it's quite nice. No one can come up behind me and I feel a bit less 'on display' so to speak. I have more room, so I can actually put a couple of cube shelves for my craft bits and pieces and other general stuff. I also have more wall, so the Tokio Hotel shrine will be able to grow *bounce* I will have to move the flag along the wall but that's easy done. MissK and I have plans to go and print out more pics for the wall, so I have to trawl through all the newer pics I have and pick some LOL I also get to make a screen to give me some more privacy considering I am basically looking at the kids pc. At the moment the kids bookcase is dividing us, but I'm going to make a nice screen. I found the most gorgeous red, purple and black plaid chiffon yesterday in Spotlight, so I'll go grab some of that for panels. It's gonna look awesome XDDD I think this week could be fun even with all the monsters home =)
