From Spring Break to the daily grind...
Hey ya'll! Sorry I was MIA again. LJ isn't the #1 posting priority for me...as you all know. Oopsy!
Anyways, Spring Break is over here! :'( It was too short of course, but I had a great weekend that lasted from Thursday to Sunday. :D Here's the breakdown of my killer break...
Thursday--Mark & I went camping (since the girls & our buds ditched on us, DOUCHES!!!) & stayed till around noon Friday afternoon
Friday--Went off-roading since Mark drove his Jeep camping, twas AWESOME! Almost got stuck a few times but it was a blast! Then went to Land Between the Lakes (preservation of sorts) where we saw the native bison they've brought back to the area & went to the working colonial farm that was just down the road. Mark got to pet & feed a horse (he's quite intimidated by horses' size & power so it was a step for him). Got gifts for our moms, enjoyed the ride back home, hit the Waffle House for supper (Yum!) & then napped for a little before Mark had to go to work. Very fun day!
Saturday--Had to work with the new boss, BLECH!!! >.< But then after work & taking for of the dogs, Mark & I went over to his 'rents' & hung out there since we haven't much since he moved out. Then we napped after going back to his apartment.
Sunday--I stayed up with Mark online till 6AM this morning when he got off work so we could sleep together. Twas nice, I love cuddling with that boy. ^_^ Went to his 'rents for supper, she'd made a delicious homecooked meal. Mmm! Played "Life: Simpson's Edition" with Mark & his nephew. Got a lil' ugly/competitive but was fun. Went to see "300" in the theater after. OMFG, that was a brilliantly beautiful movie! So artistically done & so visually stimulating. A mix of "Gladiator" meets "Lord of the Rings"...I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! I love period pieces/historical movies anyways as does the bf but this was in a league all it's own! Gah! Stayed over & went to school unshowered Monday, but cleaned up later. :P
Such a nice weekend...if only it could always be so good...:)
