Exciting news I wanted to share: I just found out that the UA is granting me a full tuition and fee waiver for the upcoming semester! Yippee!!! Hurrah for no paying for school!!! Huzzah!!
Meanwhile, monsoon season is here early, creeping slowly from daily afternoon/night thunderstorms to allday thunderstorms that drown this desert with much-needed water. I'm staying at a neighbor's for a couple of months, and the other night's rainstorm was so strong it put a hole in her skylight. Butshe has a cat! I miss cats. He's a real Robin WIlliams drag-queen cat, too. He always wants attention -- except he doesn't throw up in our shoes.
Work is great, only one more session and then I have a couple weeks off before school. I'm a bit nervous about it all now that it's quietly approaching, butI'm studying for my diagnostics, and I'm keeping in touch with my advisor, so I think all is well.
Peter is wonderful. He's been here practically all summer, and ... well, it's justbeen amazing. Although, I really should start taking him to Tucson's landmarks. Oh! And I'm teaching him how to play tennis (his idea). It's a fair trade: he teaches me how to ski, I teach him how to play tennis. Both are going to take a bit of time.
I guess that's really all there is for now. Oh, and I'm finally 22. Catching up withmost of my friends at last.
