Grrr.... I have decided that coursework is HARD!!! VERY HARD! Mr. Gerig basically tore my English coursework to bits with me and now I have to put it back together again FOR TOMORROW! But to be fair, he knows what's he's talking about and I trust him. My talk with Mrs. Cox concerning extended essay was useful... I now feel that I am getting somewhere useful and I am doing the supervisor thing that I should have been doing weeks ago... well better late than never... I now have to go and order books from Amazon for it which clearly aren't going to arrive before the essay has to be given in. It's confusing and I don't know what to write... a riddle, one might say
However on the up side, we now sort of have a provisional cast for House Arts. Isabel and I stayed after school and did a little reshuffling and we now have what is shaping up to be something promising... which is good. Talks will continue tomorrow. Watch this space.
I was so proud of my Italian story that I wrote in my free today. Not knowing what to write about I took the names (slightly adapted) from a little story that I hold close to my heart... ahem...
Meg went out to meet her friend Paul. They went to the market and Meg wanted to buy some trousers but she didn't have any money. However there was a good looking, blonde boy at the market that said that he would buy the trousers fror her if she went out with him tomorrow. Meg thought he was funny and said yes. When they left the market, Paul told her that she was stupid for going out with someone that she didn't even know the name of. But Meg thought he was funny. However Paul secretly knew the blonde boy because they went to school together. His name was Percy and Paul didn't like him because he was arrogant. And he secretly wanted to go out with Meg instead.
Well my teacher liked it although she took the thing off me and then said that half the grammer was wrong... but it made me happy...
So now I have to come up with a humourous plotline to make a film about pirates to be filmed in the guide hut or the woods around it... hmmm... I may have to dwell on it
