What's the point of body hair? I understand that animals have a nice insulation deal with theirs, and that at some point homo-sapien's ancestors may have had a similar deal to that of the animal fur, but humans as they stand today don't need it. Even when we didn't use very much clothing in the olden days, and even if we had a little more hair on our legs and chests, the hair doesn't seem like it would serve to much of a purpose. I have a heard an interesting theory about armpit hair and that its possible use was to perpetuate a smell to attract mates, but what of the hair on arms and legs? It might be said that the hair is there as a means of blocking sweat run-off onto the hands and feet, but if you have ever sweat enough to have run-off on the legs you'll probably notice that the hair does nothing ( that is unless you have Robin Williams' arm hair, or if you happen to be Robin Williams, 'cause nothing gets out of that gorilla hair ) . I can understand head hair, only because it is rather clustered , and pubic hair may go along with armpit hair, and of course-awesome beards..only because beards are the shit though. We should have just been completely bald and had gills, then we could live in the water and build real cool cities like aquaman. Damn evolution.
