Must remember to move my car for street cleaning
I have a bit of a cold. Nothing too bad, but I know if I go into work today and I even sniffle they will be all over me to go home. So, since I'm not too busy at work anyway, I decided to just stay home and rest.
I think I'll watch Pride and Prejudice, the bbc version. <3 Colin Firth as Mr. Darcy.
Yesterday I watched The Bad Mother's Handbook on google videos. It was actually really cute. And not just because my bf, Rob Pattinson was in it.
Apparently yesterday was the day to catch up with people I haven't talked to/seen in a while. I got to see my favorite dog in the world, Paddington. He's this wonderful yellow lab who is so sweet and friendly and I just want to dognap him one day. And I saw some people from my old job. And I got calls from my good friend who recently moved out to Chicago and my sister.
My sister sent me a cute hello kitty backpack that she made for Girl's day on March 3rd. We were talking about Mardi Gras and Fat Tuesday, and she didn't remember it being referred to as Pancake Tuesday. But I always remember they had pancake breakfast on Shrove Tuesday. I guess I paid more attention to those kinds of details. She also said "didn't Jesus die and 40 days later wake up?" I couldn't stop laughing at her. We are apparently not very religious, though we grew up going to church every Sunday for 18 years and were acolytes.
