I stayed home from school today because I just felt absolutely horrible. Not much to tell, slept until 1:00 pm and watched TV until people came home. Tyler came around the house and tried to get in, and I was too scared to open it because I was home by myself and he had two friends so I just turned off all the lights and hid behind the couch with Buck and Clayton (2 of my doggies). Whatever. Jacob got on and informed me that I have yet another project to add on to the file
my goodness I HATE school. I have a science fair project due next week, an element project due this Friday that was just assigned today, a flute duet due next Saturday, another band tape due next week, and I'm like ahhhh. I hate school, really I can't stand it.
Also, Shady told me that Katey was harassed today because she's bisexual. Let me state this before I go any further, yes I am southern baptist and NO, I do NOT agree with homosexuality. Now to counter that, I don't believe in acting indifferent to them. They're still people, and God gave them a choice to be involved in that. The outcome wont be good, but it's their choice. You shouldn't stop being someone's friend because of their sexuality. Plus christians have this thing where they think they'll convert someone from homosexuality by shunning them and saying YOU'RE GOING TO HELL like 30 million times a day. I truly believe that if you follow God, stay their friend, let them know you don't support them in that decision but still want to be the same, show them kindness and show them the love of God, prayer does help. Same way with converting people into christians. People hate it if you shove anything down their throat, more so religion. But if you show kindness, happiness, people start to wonder why you have such a great life and treat others so greatly despite how many times you've been knocked down. When you tell them it's God in your life, most people will start thinking they'd want that too. After all the bible does say this:
"Let us not love with words or tongue, but with actions and in truth."
