Potter's Curiousities on the Chopping Auction Block

That makes me very sad... I can only hope that they will all be gotten by the same person or organization, and still be on display somewhere. As much as I'd like some myself, I think it'd be a shame for them to all scatter into private collections...

didn't want to be the one to say it... mrrranda July 25 2003, 21:21:45 UTC
but there is something sad about it, isn't there? More than in just a selfish "now I'll never see them!" way.

I'm inclined to think they know already but....

*House on the Rock*

If not, I apologize for ruining the surprise, but... did I send you the clipping about the albino taxidermy collection in Lima, OH?

No, I do not believe you did. And I don't remember seeing anything that interesting when I lived in Ohio...

You've got about twelve days to get me the other track listings....

Oh dear! Well, have a lovely and safe trip, Mrrr. And your writing is more than enough, I do love it so. So much that I still have email from you that I just don't even know where to start in reply... Hopefully there will be something packagey waiting for you upon your return. Oh, and dammit-- so three weeks in a row without RadioMrrr! Grrr! ;P

*heeeeeee*

Thanks so much, Jack. I owe you stuff, too. In the meantime, you can hold a dentoform in each hand, and act out *all the conversations of your vivid inner life.* Or make them battle!!! And listen to Sara while I'm away; we play a lot of the same stuff - that's why we're sharing that slot, you know?

Albino taxidermy collection in Ohio? Wow, I would love to see it! anything is possible in Ohio. I spent most of my childhood there and I have never met so many genuinely strange and peculiar people in my life.

How funny. I spent most of my childhood in Ohio and decided that nothing was possible there... Although there is a strangeness that I couldn't fully appreciate then...

Chris is a child of Ohio, and having met his extended family, yes, there is a strangeness. It's just less flamboyant, maybe... less self-aware.

Well, he was born in Lima, but his parents whisked him away from there when he was wee. A lot of his family's still there, can't remember where other than tiny farm towns along I-75. I'll ask him when he's up and about. He's...

My father used to work in a mental hospital in Ohio. The patients would have an art show every year. You should see the great stuff he brought home. I think that he still might have some pieces.
