Cold
So our heater is broken. Thus, as it sits just above freezing, our heat source comes from our wood-burning fireplace. I have stolen the space heater and put it in my room, because for whatever reason (my room is on the East side of the house) my room is the coldest room. When the space heater is running I have no will to do anything but sit here and go "B]" and stare at the wall.
I'm not going to my design class today for two reasons: I didn't finish my project, and it's raining and I have nothing to carry my shit in. Normally Eddie would drive me to prevent my project from dying but he's still not talking to me, so whatever. Since I didn't finish it I'm just going to get it done now, which is what I would be doing in class anyway. I'll go to English, and hopefully it won't be too dark.
Quarter ends on December 2nd :D
I'm pretty excited about a lot of stuff but I wish I had more time to do all the things I want to do. I have so many little projects and my attention span is short, so I often switch between them. Hopefully the WWS stuff will happen within the next few weeks when I have much more time.
They won't be happy about me skipping school again but whatever. It's not like it's affecting my grade by much and it's certainly not as if they're encouraging me in any way, shape, or form to succeed. I have one goal that neither of them understand: move out. Unfortunately my job hunt was ruined by bad weather but I should have time on Wednesday because I don't have school. We'll see.
I'm trying to figure out what sort of wage I need to subsist on my own. I think it should be around $800, with rent, food, and such but it might be a little more. Other than rent I have that $40 phone bill, uh, however much cat food and litter costs, food, and transportation (monthly bus passes are like $55 a month or so). Maybe that's more like $900. Gah. Life's expensive.
