Yeah, that socket got a bit sparky on Wednesday night as well.
Oh, electrician number 2 came round this morning, he's looked at the fusebox and various bits of the house, and it seems there are many things that we really should have but don't, such as
Plugs sockets with switches Bonding (don't ask) A separate RCD (don't ask that, either) for the shower
He then went away to find out exactly what he's supposed to be quoting us for; he didn't seem to happy that other electricians had been round. I suspect there have been communications failures somewhere.
I've never been healthy in my life. In either sense of the word.
I'll try and avoid killing myself, on the terms that you try to avoid injuring yourself in some way, like you always do when you leave my sight for more than a day :P.
Went to the pub briefly but I had lemonade and she had coke (a-cola). Will be meeting some of Alex's friends tonight and not drinking; enjoyed the strangely early night I got yesterday and am thinking of repeating it. However, there may be some alcohol involved with tomorrow evening's plan...
After the power came back on sunday from th outage... ours didn't. I had to rewire the fuse again.
I also thought I was going to kill myself when the socket I was pluggin the kettle into spat sparks a good foot out.

It's more the potential during the camp that worries me: there'll be fire and tent pegs and other dangerous things.
