I got an email concerning my Hamlet audition which stated-
Hi Dwight! I'd like for you to play FIRST PLAYER (we'll give him a name at rehearsal). Let me know what you think.
I hit reply and simply typed "No Thanks". That is as polite as I could have possibly been. You would know this to be true if you would have seen the other auditions and the hack job he did with the script.
