heehee. I know you said it was pretty anti-climatic, but I think it made for a pretty good story.

My question though... who was occupant-of-the-wrong-house #1? Didn't he realize that the guy didn't live there?

Nono... room-mate was in the bathroom (of the wrong house) when occupant #1 poked his nose out. They never saw each other. Driver just pointed into the bathroom, and occupant #1 must've assumed it was occupant #2 in there. (or so goes the story as later recounted by driver)
